However, despite the second phase being given, there was not much interest among the people. While a total of 3.50 lakh families were supposed to register in this survey, it is reported that only 10 thousand families registered their details in the final phase. With this, the remaining lakhs of families are left without participating in the survey. This is likely to affect the implementation of social justice and welfare schemes in the future.
Data that can be used for distribution of funds
The government has made various efforts to encourage people to participate in the survey. As part of this, a special helpline number 040-21111111 has been made available to register details. However, the number of participants has been low. Analysts are of the opinion that the government's goal of collecting data through this survey to ascertain the population figures of various castes in the state and to use it for future reservations, government schemes and distribution of funds has not reached the desired level.
