Trump has a previous criminal conviction
Ottawa: Jagmeet Singh, leader of Canada's opposition NDP (National Democratic Party) and Khalistani sympathizer, described US President Trump as a criminal while speaking at the Jagmeet Singh Material Council on Foreign Relations meeting on Wednesday. He was prevented from entering Canadian territory for the G-7 summit. They demanded a ban. Trump's previous criminal conviction and his threats to countries around the world were cited as reasons for this.
Why should we let them into our country?
I believe Trump should be banned from the G7 meetings. He should not be invited here. Why should we allow a convicted criminal into our country? Why should we allow a person who has become a threat to our democracy and sovereignty, who has threatened our economy, our friends, and the world? He commented that today's meeting is about how to stop Donald Trump . He urged the Canadian government and allies to use the G7 platform to stop Trump. They should team up with like-minded countries like Mexico, New Zealand, and Australia to confront him. He said the NDP supports strengthening the Canadian military with state-of-the-art weapons.
Most of Trump's comments anger him.
The Canadian government has not yet responded to Singh's statement. Prime Minister's Office spokesman Simon Lafargue responded by saying that they would not comment on the matter. Energy Minister Jonathan Wilkinson said that Jagmeet's proposal was not very good. He also advised that they should appoint new advisors who would think and give advice. He also said that many of Trump's comments angered him. At the same time, he suggested that they find ways to work together. We cannot just break away and go to another place in the ocean. They are our neighbors. We should move forward together. The G7 meetings will be held in Alberta from June 15 to 17.
